1. Flow range and accuracy: the core guarantee of production efficiency
 
Flow performance is the primary indicator for model selection, which must simultaneously meet the dual requirements of "large flow demand" and "precise control". Industrial-grade products, such as the WT600-4F peristaltic pump, offer a flow range of 100mL-11000mL/min, accommodating diverse scenarios from small and medium-sized batch dispensing to large-scale delivery. More importantly, flow accuracy is crucial. In fields like biopharmaceuticals and food filling, tolerance for errors is extremely low. The BT600L model boasts a measured accuracy of ≤±0.5% and a repeatability coefficient of variation (CV) ≤0.3%, effectively preventing material waste or product batch variations. When selecting a model, it's essential to ensure that the flow range has a 10%-20% margin relative to process requirements. Additionally, attention should be paid to whether the equipment possesses a flow calibration function to maintain long-term operational accuracy.

In industrial settings, long-distance transportation, high-viscosity fluids, or filtration systems can generate high back pressure, necessitating peristaltic pumps with sufficient pressure tolerance. The WT600-4F is equipped with YZ35 and KZ35 pump heads, capable of continuous pressure bearing up to 0.27 MPa and intermittent pressure bearing up to 0.17 MPa, meeting the needs for high-pressure liquid transmission. When selecting a model, it is necessary to calculate the maximum system back pressure based on actual working conditions and choose a model with sufficient pressure reserve to avoid flow attenuation or hose damage due to insufficient pressure. Additionally, the structural design of the pump head also affects pressure performance. Stainless steel pump heads, such as the KZ35, have advantages in corrosive environments or high-pressure scenarios.

For example, the BT600L supports the transportation of fluids with viscosities ranging from 0.1 to 30,000 cP, adapting to diverse scenarios from cell culture media to chocolate slurry. At the same time, attention should be paid to the equipment protection level. IP65-rated products can operate safely in high dust and high humidity environments, avoiding environmental factors that affect the purity of the medium transmission.

The speed range is 10-600rpm, supporting precise speed regulation. The control method needs to adapt to industrial automation requirements, with priority given to models that support external control interfaces (4-20mA, 0-10V, etc.), RS485 communication, or Modbus protocol, enabling remote control and linked operation. In addition, equipment with functions such as full-speed cleaning, suction back to prevent dripping, and parameter memory can simplify operational processes and enhance production efficiency.

Equipment must meet the basic requirements of operating within a temperature range of 0-40°C and a relative humidity of less than 80%. For special scenarios, models with wide temperature adaptability can be selected. In terms of protection level, IP54 can handle general dust and water splashes, while IP65 provides dust and water spray resistance, suitable for harsh working conditions with high humidity and dust. Additionally, the weight and installation method of the equipment must also be considered. When the distributed peristaltic pump is used for timing and quantitative feeding, relative constant flow feeding and precise titration of liquid medicine, the flow calibration should be carried out first. If the flow still has deviation after one calibration, or the flow has deviation after the calibration has been put into use for a period of time, the same method can be used to calibrate again, so as to improve the measurement accuracy.

Flow calibration operation method:

(1) Enter the "flow correction" page and confirm that the pipeline has been fully filled (there is no air in the pipe). If it has not been fully filled, please start the peristaltic pump to perform filling. (in the flow correction mode, it will stop automatically after running for a period of time after starting) (2) prepare a container, clear the weight of the container on the electronic scale, place the container at the outlet of the pump pipe, press the start / stop key to start the peristaltic pump, and measure the amount of materials pumped (the unit can be ml, G, kg, etc.) after the peristaltic pump stops automatically. It is better to measure several times with the same method and take the average value of several times.

(3) Press the ENT key, cooperate with the up and down keys, and input the value measured in the previous step as the calibration value. For example, if the value measured in the previous step is 84.0g, set the "calibration value" to "84.00"; Then press ESC to exit the flow correction page.

(4) After calibration, if the flow or speed is reset, and the new value changes more than the original value, it shall be recalibrated.

Precautions for calibration operation:

(1) The rotating speed at calibration time is generally not less than 20rpm.

(2) After replacing the new pump pipe, run it at full speed for several minutes before calibration, and the effect is better.

(3) It is better to calibrate when the liquid level of raw material barrel is in the middle position (half barrel).

The distributive peristaltic pump plays the role of other pumps in the fields of high clean material transportation, precise flow control, precise dosing and micro filling. Correct use and reasonable maintenance are the necessary conditions to give full play to the superior performance of peristaltic pump.

1、 At the initial stage of using the peristaltic pump, pay attention to the service life of the pump pipe and make records. After use, try to replace the pump pipe before it reaches the expected service life.

II. In case of pipe breakage and leakage, the pump head shall be cleaned in time to prevent corrosive materials and easily solidified materials from damaging the roller parts of the pump head.

3、 Frequently check the operation flexibility of the roller, and timely repair the roller if it is found to be inflexible.

4、 The power supply must have a reliable grounding wire, which is the most important safety rule.

5、 Cut off the power supply when replacing the pump pipe and cleaning the machine body.

6、 Do not use a dripping cloth to wipe the signal terminals on the operation panel and the back of the chassis.

The four bases for the selection of peristaltic pumps peristaltic pumps use rotating rollers to squeeze the hose to transport fluid. As the fluid only flows in the hose, it does not contact the pump body, and will not cause cross pollution. At the same time, the conveying accuracy is high and the shear effect is small. As peristaltic pump driver is a high-precision equipment integrating machinery, electronics and software, which can receive a variety of external control signals to achieve external signal control, it is often used as an ideal equipment for industrial supporting and distributed control. Then I'll give you a brief introduction of the 4 basis for the selection of peristaltic pump.

1. Determination of requirements

Since the model is selected, you should first determine your own needs, mainly including: flow size, accuracy requirements, transmission medium, channel number, pressure range, suction range and control mode.

2. Selection of pump head

Number of channels: determine the number of channels according to the workload demand.

Number of rollers: the number of rollers is the key factor to determine the pulsation, and the number of rollers depends on the pulsation requirements.

Disassembly method: simple and convenient disassembly method is a good choice.

3. Selection of hose

Inner diameter: the inner diameter is proportional to the flow.

Wall thickness: the greater the pressure, the greater the wall thickness is required.

Material: special medium, special function hose shall be selected, such as corrosion resistance, acid resistance, strong acid resistance, organic resistance

4. Driver selection

Speed: the speed is proportional to the flow. Refer to the parameter diagram.

Accuracy: select the corresponding rotary actuator for different accuracy.

Protection grade: different environments have different requirements for product protection grade. For example, if the working environment requires waterproof and dustproof, the driver corresponding to the IP grade shall be selected.
